In this section of  Republic Act No. 7610, which was passed on June 17, 1992, the absence of the word "not" changed the intent of the law:


Somebody must have spotted the problem and in order to correct it, they passed RA 9231 on December 19, 2003:


But it seemed they also renamed Section 12 to Section 2. Gets mo?

Ad coelum ad internos or Ad column ad inferos?

In discussing the restriction on surface right on a parcel of land Paras has this to say on Page 194, Vol. II, 2008 Edition, of the New Civil Code of the Philippines Annotated:


 
 
De Leon on the other hand, on page 126 of the book Comments and Cases on Property, 2006 Edition, states thus:
 


Take note that they are quoting from the same source.

Here's how the Wikipedia words it: Cuius est solum, eius est usque ad coelom et ad inferos.

It seems both are half-right. Or half-wrong?

Typewriter or Notebook?

Could be a case of trying to transition the textbook from the typewriter era to the computer age. But not enough equivalence. Typewriter is equivalent to computer plus printer. Right?
