Judgment in civil action: Regalado v Pamaran
On page 368 of the Remedial Law Compendium Vol. II, 11th Edition by Florenz D. Regalado the author quotes and explains Section 5 of Rule 111 in this manner:
In effect he says here that judgment in a criminal action does not bar a civil action. I think Regalado is 180 degree off topic.
